Gerald Peters Gallery
Address: 2913 Fairmount Street, Dallas, TX 75201 Gerald Peters has been a hot name in the art world for decades. In 1972, Peters opened his first gallery in Santa Fe and has since opened two additional spaces: one in New York and the other in Uptown Dallas. The Dallas venue was established in 1986 and, in the late-90’s, Edmund P. Pillsbury — former director of Fort Worth’s Kimbell Art Museum — teamed up with Peters. The alliance lasted four years and resulted in, unequivocally, one of Dallas’ finest galleries. The 10,000-square-foot Uptown location boasts an indoor viewing area, atrium, and sculpture garden. Exhibits feature 19th- and 20th-century European pieces, including works by masters such as Picasso, Matisse, and Segal. Other mentions: Share your review in the comments section!
