Nominated “Best Theater Company” by the Dallas Observer, the Kitchen Dog Theater has been delighting Uptown audiences for over 15 years. The group is the resident company at the cool McKinney Avenue Contemporary (“The MAC”), a visual and performing arts space. Arrive a few minutes before the show and check out The MAC’s exhibits!

Kitchen Dog productions run Thursday – Saturday at 8 pm, with alternating Wednesdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Ticket prices range from $15 – $20 with discounts available.

How about an evening at the theater? This neighborhood playhouse has been entertaining Uptown audiences for over four decades. Theatre Three showcases nationally-known productions such as the hit Broadway musical “The Full Monty” and Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” as well as works from local talents.

“My Own Private Diva”, written by and starring Theatre Three’s own Resident Musical Director Terry Dobson, scored rave reviews:

Talk about an Uptown must-see! Treat yourself to a show at the Dallas Theater Center’s Kalita Humphreys Theater, designed by celebrated architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The building itself is a marvel, one of only three Wright theaters in existence today.
