Touted as an “Uptown Pizza Wine Bar”, Coal Vines is the newest creation of Dallas restaurateurs Phil Romano and Joseph Palladino (who also manage Nick & Sam’s and Medici Lounge in the Uptown district).
In addition to thin-crust New York-style pizza, this corner eatery offers a smattering of surf and turf entrees, including Pan-Roasted Chilean Sea Bass and Tuscan Steak & Fries. Preview selections on Coal Vine’s official Web site. Frittatas and French toast are served on Sundays during 11 am – 3 pm brunch hours.
Don’t forget the vino! It’s available by the glass or by the bottle.
