Located along Cedar Springs Road at Routh Street, the recently revamped Maguire’s Uptown is a chic yet comfortable dining spot. Original artwork adorns the walls and high ceilings abound, creating a relaxed, airy atmosphere. Maguire’s also offers an al fresco alternative with spacious patio seating.
The menu features an extensive listing of “New American” cuisine. One specialty dish is Maguire’s Meatloaf, made with veal and pork, served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and wild mushroom porot sauce.
Another “don’t miss”, according to Dotty Griffith of The Dallas Morning News, is the Texas Wedge, a salad which “satisfies in flavor and quantity.”
