There’s an interesting history behind the Morrill name. Established in London in 1796, W.J. Morrill, Ltd. developed an impressive clientele list over the centuries by providing top-notch restoration services. Well, “impressive clientele” if Queen Elizabeth II and Winston Churchill fall into that category. In 2000, the gallery transitioned its headquarters to Uptown Dallas’ arts and antiques district.
W.J. Morrill specializes in 18th- to 20th-century European and American paintings as well as contemporary works. To preview offerings, visit the W.J. Morrill official Web site.
Current proprietor Alan R. Barnes and his staff also provide restorative services and appraisals and feature custom handmade frames.
